Effectiveness
Prolixus is a male enhancement product that exclusively promises to increase penis circumference. The ingredients contained in Prolixus are Niacin, Epimedium, Ginkgo and Ginseng. Epimedium is more commonly known as Horny Goat Weed and has been proven to be an effective treatment option for men diagnosed with erectile dysfunction. Epimedium is similar to a drug called Sildenafil which is a variation of the active ingredient used in Viagra. Sildenafil works by increasing the cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) levels in the corpus cavernosum which is responsible for producing erections. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) banned the use of Sildenafil in 2003. Sildenafil is only effective in men diagnosed with erectile dysfunction and is associated with dangerous side effects. Men taking Sildenafil are at an increased risk for gastrointestinal disorders, nausea and vomiting, low blood pressure, heart problems, and severe bleeding. Ginkgo and Ginseng are also known to cause increased bleeding. Prolixus contains a hazardous combination of Sildenafil, Ginkgo and Ginseng. This product could be slightly effective in treating men diagnosed with erectile dysfunction. However, users are likely to experience severe side effects that negate any positive results from this product.
Bottom Line
We would not recommend this product. Prolixus contains no ingredients proven to increase penis circumference and causes severe side effects. The ingredients in Prolixus could be slightly effective in treating men with erectile dysfunction. We would encourage finding a safer product with fewer side effects.
